Sevde Öztürk, who is pursuing her PhD at Ibn Haldun University, completed her master’s thesis in 2021 under the supervision of Dr. Naoki Yamamoto. Her thesis, titled “The Effect of Turkish Brigade and Battalion Imams on Koreans’ Understanding of Islam During and After the Korean War (1950-1958),” was published by Diyanet Publications under the title “Turkish Brigade Imams and Islam in Korea.”
