Admir Mulaosmanović was born on July 1, 1973 in Sarajevo. He enrolled in the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, Department of History, in 2000 and graduated in 2004. In 2004/05, he began postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb/Croatia. His area of scientific interest is contemporary world history, with an emphasis on the role of social elites and their influence on socio-political trends. As a lecturer, he started at the International University of Sarajevo, where he also held several administrative positions. He got his PhD in 2012 from the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, Croatia. Since 2023, he has been working at Balıkesir University. He is the author of three books and many scientific articles, analyses, and op-eds.
Platform: Agenda of the Muslim World was established within the İLKE Science Culture Education Foundation as a publication organ that aims to follow and analyze the intellectual, political, social, economic and cultural agendas of Muslim societies and to present current and original perspectives on the Muslim world.
