Bilal Alemdaroğlu

Journalist, lawyer, and translator. He was born in 1995 in Saudi Arabia to a Syrian mother and a Turkish father. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University in 2020. He is currently conducting research for his master’s thesis titled “Secular Discourse in a Theocratic State: Human Rights in Saudi Arabia” at the Interdisciplinary Human Rights Program at Maltepe University. His research interests include human rights, the Middle East, and media. He serves as a coordinating advisor at TRT Arabi.
