With a background in climate and nature policy and practice, Najma focuses on ideas and solutions that address climate change, fight inequality and restore nature to achieve systemic change. She has over two decades of experience gained in the development and delivery of transformative and multi-partner programmes and initiatives. She works at the nexus of ecological, climate, and social justice, translating policy knowledge into practice through research, advocacy, engagement and influence strategies.
A senior leader and programme manager, she has worked with partners across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean and more recently, UK and Europe on ideas and solutions that work for people and the planet. She brings experience in training and capacity development, civic engagement and writes and builds awareness of climate and ecological issues, including working with the faith and ecology movement.
Platform: Agenda of the Muslim World was established within the İLKE Science Culture Education Foundation as a publication organ that aims to follow and analyze the intellectual, political, social, economic and cultural agendas of Muslim societies and to present current and original perspectives on the Muslim world.
