He graduated from the Faculty of Communication at Kocaeli University in 2011. He also received training in philosophy and pedagogy at the same university. He completed his master’s degree at Sakarya University and his PhD at Hacettepe University’s Department of Communication Sciences with his dissertation titled “Remembering the Experiences of Going to the Cinema in 1960s and 1970s Turkey” (2021). He is a faculty member at the Faculty of Communication, Sakarya University. His main research areas include cultural studies, audience research, the sociology of emotions, and the history of food.
Platform: Agenda of the Muslim World was established within the İLKE Science Culture Education Foundation as a publication organ that aims to follow and analyze the intellectual, political, social, economic and cultural agendas of Muslim societies and to present current and original perspectives on the Muslim world.
