Abdullah al-Mamun

Abdullah al-Mamun completed his undergraduate studies in Islamic History and Culture at the University of Dhaka in 2012. He obtained his master’s degree in Modern Muslim States from the same university in 2014. In 2017, he completed a second master’s degree in Modern History at Istanbul University. Dr. Mamun completed his doctoral studies in History at Istanbul Medeniyet University in 2023.

He is currently serving as the Director of the Nation Building Initiative. His research interests include the history of modern education systems, Mughal politics, Indian and Ottoman intellectual history, the history of Bengal, modernism, and contemporary socio-political theories.
