**Gökmen Altıntaş** graduated with honors from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2020. He obtained his master’s degree in Public Law from Medipol University in 2025. In the fall semester of 2025, he began his doctoral studies in Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, where he is currently continuing his education. He also spent a period of time at Heidelberg University in Germany.

The author, whose articles have been published in numerous journals and websites, has also authored a book titled *"Telif Haklarının Ceza Hukuku Çerçevesinde Korunması"* (The Protection of Copyrights within the Framework of Criminal Law). While his primary fields of study are criminal law and international criminal law, he also takes a keen interest in and conducts various studies on international law, international humanitarian law, and human rights law. He currently serves as a criminal judge at the Denizli Courthouse.
