Ibrahim Musa Unal has a BA in Management degree from Istanbul Sehir University and an MSc in Islamic Finance degree from INCEIF, Malaysia. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate at Hamad bin Khalifa University in Islamic finance and economy and Financial Researcher at QFMA
Ibrahim has finance and accounting experience in several industries, including construction, education, and banking. He took place in Kuveyt Turk Bank’s “Alternative Distribution Channels” team, where he conducted several projects. Moreover, Ibrahim has several volunteer activities in a few NGOs, mainly in the Turkish Red Crescent. He has been a mentor and research assistant in Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, and Doha.
Currently, Ibrahim specializes in Islamic Fintech and published several papers and book chapters related to his area. He focuses on the profitability effect of fintech implementation among Islamic banks.
Platform: Agenda of the Muslim World was established within the İLKE Science Culture Education Foundation as a publication organ that aims to follow and analyze the intellectual, political, social, economic and cultural agendas of Muslim societies and to present current and original perspectives on the Muslim world.
