Mehmet Kırtorun conducts research and professional work in the fields of civil society, cultural management, and intellectual studies. He has held executive positions in various organizations, including the Mavera Education and Health Foundation, the Karz-ı Hasen Foundation, İlim Yayma Cemiyeti, and the ILKE Foundation.

He has played an active role in developing and implementing inter-institutional projects and has led educational and social development programs at both national and international levels.
