Muaz Sami Yousef is a PhD candidate at the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at Ankara Social Sciences University. He is preparing his doctoral thesis titled "Civil-Military Relations in Sudan: A Critical Review from Independence to the Present." He earned his master’s degree from the Faculty of Political Science at Ankara University, where his thesis focused on "The Separation of South Sudan and Its Consequences." In addition to his extensive work experience with various institutions in Turkey, Muaz Sami specializes in Sudan-Turkey relations.
