Dr. Layla Saleh specializes in Arab politics, protest, and democratization. Her latest book is the co-authored Revolution and Democracy in Tunisia: A Century of Protestscapes (Oxford University Press, 2024). She is an incoming Research Fellow at the Research Institute for Language and Cultures of Asia and Africa at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS), Director of Research at Demos Tunisia, Democratic Sustainability Forum, and an Associate Editor of the Brill journal Protest.
