**Dr. Mustafa Caner** is an Assistant Professor at the Middle East Institute (ORMER) of Sakarya University. He also works as a foreign policy researcher at the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) and serves as the publication coordinator of *Kriter* magazine.
He completed his undergraduate studies in Public Administration at Uludağ University and earned his master’s degree in Political and Social Sciences from the same university. He received his PhD in Middle East Studies from Sakarya University.
His academic work focuses on Iranian politics, Turkey–Iran relations, and regional dynamics in the Middle East. He has published numerous articles, books, and book chapters in both national and international journals. He has also presented papers at various conferences and symposiums and has participated in several research projects, including TÜBİTAK-supported initiatives.
