He completed his undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching, his master’s in Sufism, and his PhD in Theology. He has published a book titled Traditionalists and Islam and translated works of various authors such as Frithjof Schuon, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, J. Esposito, and Max Weber into Turkish. In addition, his poetry translations of Cummings, Pound, and Blake have been published in literary journals. His research focuses on language and music, the origins of language and its determinative role in religious discourse, and the role of Sufism in conversions in the West.
