Peren Birsaygılı Mut

The author, who is interested in the literature of societies living in the Middle East, has conducted studies particularly on Palestinian resistance literature. In 2022, she was awarded the “Culture and Literature Global Justice Award – Nizar Kabbani Medal” by the Global Justice Organization, becoming the first Turkish writer to receive this honor. She is also the recipient of the 2023 Special Award from the Turkish Writers’ Union.
