Salah Hussein Al-Houdalieh is a professor of archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, Al-Quds University, Palestine. He also serves as secretary general of the International Council on Monuments and Sites – Palestine and of the Society for Palestinian Archaeology. His research spans a diverse range of topics, including archaeology and anthropology in the Levant, cultural identity, antiquities looting, mosaic conservation, the impact of urban development on archaeological resources, Roman-Byzantine architecture, and archaeology in war zones. Professor Al-Houdalieh has made significant contributions to the field through his extensive scholarly work, including books, field reports, and peer-reviewed articles.
