Sare Şanlı graduated from Near East University with a degree in International Relations in 2004. An author and researcher who has lived abroad for over a decade, she has studied Africa both on the ground and through the lenses of literature, politics, economics, and sociology, drawing from her experiences in Nigeria, Zambia, and Tanzania. She has translated articles and analyses for various international publications, including The New York Times. Since 2022, she has been writing analytical pieces on Africa for Independent Turkish.

Platform: Agenda of the Muslim World was established within the İLKE Science Culture Education Foundation as a publication organ that aims to follow and analyze the intellectual, political, social, economic and cultural agendas of Muslim societies and to present current and original perspectives on the Muslim world.
