Sevba Abdula was born in Skopje in 1984. In 2008, he graduated from Ankara University, Department of Economics. He completed his master's degree with the thesis ‘Religion and Nationalism: The Case of Serbian Orthodox Church and Serbian Nationalism’ at Istanbul University, Department of Political Science and International Relations. Likewise, he completed PHD with the thesis ‘Power, History and Identity: The Ottoman and Habsburg Empire Narrative in Serbian Historiography and History Textbooks’ at Marmara University, Department of Political Science and International Relations. His research focuses on the Balkans, nationalism, religion-state relations, history textbooks and Serbian nationalism. He is the father of a son and a daughter.
