She was born in Diyarbakır in 1988 and completed her primary and secondary education in İzmir. She graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Political Science and International Relations in 2011. After completing her master’s degree in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at İnönü University, she earned her PhD in the same department with her dissertation titled “Rached al-Ghannouchi as a Different Approach to the Relationship between Islam and Democracy.”
