Atike Çiçek Atsız

Born in Mardin in 1996, she graduated from Şanlıurfa Girls' Anatolian Imam-Hatip High School in 2013 and from Dicle University Faculty of Theology in 2017. In 2018, she was admitted to the master's program in the Department of History of Islamic Sects at Dicle University Faculty of Theology and began working as a Religious Culture Teacher at the Ministry of National Education that same year. She completed her master's degree in 2020 with a thesis titled "The Phenomenon of Colonialism in Malik Bennabi." In 2026, she completed her doctoral studies -which she had begun in 2023 at Ankara University Faculty of Theology, Department of Sufism- with a dissertation titled "The Nature of the Afterlife in Ibn al-Arabi." She currently serves as a Research Assistant in the Department of Sufism at Mardin Artuklu University Faculty of Theology, a position she has held since 2021.
