Fatih Dağ

Fatih Dağ, who graduated from the Department of International Relations at Galatasaray University in 2019, was awarded the YLSY scholarship (Scholarship for Graduate Studies Abroad) by the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey in the same year to pursue studies in African Studies on behalf of the National Defense University.

In September 2023, he completed his Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Peace Governance at the International University of Rabat in Morocco, with a thesis titled “The Sahel as a Crossroads of International Actors: Who, Why, and How?” Since November 2023, he has been pursuing his studies within the framework of a joint PhD program (cotutelle) under the supervision of Prof. Michel BOYER from the Center for Global Studies at the International University of Rabat and Prof. François PERNOT from the HERITAGES research center at CY Cergy Paris University in France. His doctoral research focuses on the strategic, geoeconomic, and political transformations in Atlantic Morocco since the 18th century.

Dağ is proficient in advanced French, fluent English, and intermediate Arabic.
